Hi, I am currently searching for good UK immigration lawyers, having had rejections as a working holiday maker and 6 month social visit pass to the UK, though I'm holding a Singapore passport. It's quite an exasperting situation to be in, I've even tried cold calling big law firms here in Singapore and it appears that the best way to go about getting advice is via the migration experts / lawyers in UK. I have not yet engaged any to date, still getting quotes at this juncture but it seems like the base line is as follow:

1) Be prepared to pay for advice of any sorts. General discussions are FOC but does not resolve any immigration issues you may have

2) Look for OISC logo on the web page. This will prove that they are registered to provide immigration advice. The UK Border Agency recommended IAS from the UK for immigration services required. I personally have not turned to them at this juncture.
