He has been here for 9 years. He is a great guy and doesnt deserve to get sent back to a place he isnt famillar with. There has to be some loophole. it cant just be final.please. any good lawyers in the austin texas area? or maybe some possible cases where someone did something worse and was pardoned?
lets just send every ut student that has a dwi charge out of this country.
First of all: to all you narrow minded people…..He is not some illegal mexican that crossed the border. He came from columbia to go to school and better his life. All of you that are writing horrible comments…..I bet you have friends that have had a dwi. And you can get one of those by having two beers and being pulled over by not using your blinker. yall make it sound like he has no respect for this country. You are all probably just rednecks with shotguns sitting next to you.

yes, get a lawyer to apply for a waiver. it’s very expensive, but might help. but like all immigration matters, it is not a sure thing. i believe there’s a law out that immigrants can adjust their status if they’ve been here for 10 years and have a dependent who’s an american citizen (child or spouse). good luck.

High school internship?

Author: admin
August 15, 2009

I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and I’m really interested in becoming a lawyer after college. I’ve already got my dream schools set, I make all A’s at my high school (one of the top 100 public schools in the U.S.) and am ranked in the top 10% of my class. I was wondering if I could possibly get an internship at a law firm this summer for about a month - I don’t care if it’s filing papers, or whatever. I think the experience would be really good, that’s all. If I emailed local law firms about any possible internship positions (I live in Austin, TX) do you think they might be able to schedule an interview or something, or even respond? If it’s any help, I’m currently 15 (but I dont’ know if age is really a factor). PLEASEEE HELP!!

From a lawyer in Houston. Yep, the send the email and tell them that you will work for free. I’ll bet that you will get several responses and most of them will pay you at least minimum age if not more. Send out a lot of emails. You can get lawyers email addresses from Lawyers.com. Send emails to smaller firms with two to five lawyers. Good luck!

So I applied for a loan and was called by Brookdale Lending Group that I was approved for up to 10,000 dollars. He (David Austin) told me due to my credit rating that I only had the option of collateral. I decided to go with 7,000 dollars and I was told the interest would be 6% and it would be a 36 month term and my monthly payments would be 212.76. Due to the fact I am doing collateral I must first send them 4 months payments which was a total of 851 dollars which should be sent by money gram to Tina R. Herring in Canada. After I sent it and called him and gave him the reference number he informed me that I will receive my deposit into my account within 24 hours, along with the fee I paid to send the moneygram. The following day when I didn’t receive it, I called. Wasn’t able to talk to the same person so i spoke with the actually person that transfers the loans, (Frank Ryan) and he informed me that my lender ran a re-assessment on my account and is requiring an additional 3 months coverage which would be 638 dollars. I was upset at this point and ask numerous of questions, he than became angry and began speaking very rudely. I ask him to explain to me what everything meant. Once that was done I sent over the 638 dollars that was requested it was sent to Gloria P Jeffries and she is also located in Canada. After issuing him the reference number again he assured me there would be no more assessments on my account and I should receive the funds within the next 2 hours. That was at 1pm today. I have not yet to receive the funds. I have been calling since 3:30pm and the customer service would go to voice mail (which was weird) and when I did talk to someone they would say that both men were either on lunch or in a meeting. They only open Mon-Friday and they close at 7pm. I received documentation which was the loan agreement with all information on it. It seem legit and it was signed by the President/Chairman Samuel Kacy. I just want to know has anyone every heard of this company? If not what exactly should I do to sue or get my money back? Is there a website where I look on? I looked on ripoff reports.com and better business bureau and they both brought no results. I never had to contact a lawyer before or take any legal actions. Someone please help me! And please no smart comments!

This company is NOT a legit company. I looked through their website, and under the privacy section, it stated that they were affiliated with Citibank, so I called Citibank to verify this. Citibank informed me that they are NOT affiliated with this company, and they have notified the proper channels. I am so sorry for your loss and inconvenience. :(

I know some of you might not like it but no rude answers please.
Here it is.

Wrestlemania 25 event:
1. Rey Mysterio def Chavo Guerrero

WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
2. Beth Pheonix def Michelle McCool

3. Kane def Mark Henry

4. Stone Cold Steve Austin def JBL

5. Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy def Duece & Domino

Handicap Match
6. John Cena & Shawn Michaels def Edge, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

7. The Big Show def The Great Khali

8. The Undertaker def Vladimir Kozlov

World Heavyweight Championship
9. Triple H def Chris Jericho

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
10. Batista def Randy Orton

After that match all the past legends celebrate the 25th anniversery!!!.
Special guests: Hollywood Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Bret Hart, Jerry Lawyer, Jim Ross, Tazz, Michael Cole, Kurt Angle, The Ultimate Warrior, Roddy Rowdy Piper, Mr T, Trish Stratus, Lita (and other great divas) and other famous WWE legends.

Now there it is. Im saying it again, please no rude answers. However you could say if you didn’t like it or liked it. You could say if it’s good or not.

I would really like to know what you think of my Wrestlemania 25 event.

Stone Cold Steve Austin might return to wrestle again that’s why I put him in against a wrestler I hate, John Bradshaw Layfield. He’s crap.

So can you please give you opinions? Or even better, write your own event when you answer the question.

Yeah, its not too bad, there’s some interesting matches.

Rey V Chavo would have been good, if Chavo was 10 years younger, he’s past it now, but, lets say both wrestlers are at their peak, hey!

Beth V McCool would be pretty one sided, I’d prefer Beth V Natayla so there is some competition. Maybe McCool V Maria for the Diva belt?

Kane V Mark Henry, well, yeah, that would work.

Stone Cold V JBL would be good to see.

Half of Deuce and Domino have been fired (cant remember which one) and so has either Hawkins or Ryder (same thing, cant remember which one) Deuce and Domino were never good enough to take on Hardy Boys, I’d put Miz and Morrison in their place, that would be a good match.

and i’d substitute Cena with HHH and have DX V Edge, Hawkins and Ryder. That would be cool.

Big Slow V Khali would be good if it was quick, and they were both doing lots of high strength, power moves. I’d actually let Khali win, Big Slow sucks now he’s a heel.

Taker V Kozlof would be good to watch. Kozlof is a hard son beech and Taker has a lot to lose. They both have a similar style, and are very strong. I like this match.

HHH V Jericho, well, yeah, any opportunity for Trip to get a belt I like!

Same deal with Batista. He should have the belt back, and to see him smash Orton would be nice.

I really like the idea of all the legends returning. That would be great too! Personally, I think there are lots of unused Hero’s out there that could make a guest appearance here or there, and what better chance than WM 25.

Probably because they’ve actually taken the time to look at the evidence, unlike the radio talk show hosts who never have the time to actually look at the thousands of pieces of evidence, but have the audacity to call us kool-aid drinkers when we don’t agree. The real kool-aid drinkers are the ones who follow blindly, never questioning the government. The truth will be told!

I’m an aspiring lawyer. Here are the metro areas I’m currently considering:
1. Austin/Round Rock, TX
2. San Antonio, TX
3. Dallas/Dallas Co., TX
4. Fort Worth/Tarrant Co., TX
5. Houston/Galveston, TX
6. Oklahoma City/Norman, OK
7. Atlanta/Athens, GA
8. Southaven, MS (Memphis suburb)
9. Nashville/Murfreesboro, TN

These are my criteria:
1. I currently live in Kentucky and want out. If I stay here, it will ONLY be in Louisville, and even the job market there isn’t that great.
2. So many people from Ky. actually go north to Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, etc. for work. I don’t have any desire to go north.
3. I want to be in a growing city with a strong economy and good, friendly people.
4. I’d like a reasonably decent cost of living–fairly low property tax rates, a growing and not-about-to-bust housing market, and hot summers/warm winters.

I appreciate any and all help!

Toronto! And as a bonus your American money is worth more, and you get free health care.

Marisa Lahm (main character)- Has her own kid rockband since she was four, formed with cousin, boyfriend, and other friends, all of which were young prodigies. Takes care of her twin cousin, born on the same day, same month, same year, at the same time. Mom works for the EPA, dad is the boss of HEI
Drake Lahm- Marisa’s cousin, a victim of past abuse. His dad/ Marisa’s uncle died when they were five. His mom since then has become an abusive, drug addict, alchoholic that allows her abusive boyfriends to hurt Drake. Mom is a druglord, dad was a one man band guitarist.
Jared Bell- is Marisa’s boyfriend since first grade. Family is rich from winning the lottery. Mom is a lawyer, dad is a high powered president of a corperation.
Ashton Massie- Is an only child, desperatly lying to get attention his parents don’t give him. Mom is a flight attendant, dad is a pilot.
Austin Kutcher- quiet guy. Mom is a doctor, step dad is a police officer
Caiman Long- Outcome of a rape. Mom= prisonguard
NO, FOR THE LAST TIME, I DID NOT STEAL DRAKE BELL OR ASHTON KUTCHER’S NAMES!!!!! Jared Bell is a very common name, and is my boyfriend
Drake Lahm is my cousin
Ashton Massie is my friend
Austin Kutchco is my friend, but we just call him Austin Kutcher to mess with Ashton
The Drake Lahm and Jared Bell thing is just a coincidencial thing.

Are you using Drake Belle’s name for your characters? I would go and make up my own name, not that I don’t think using Drake Belle is bad, I would just use a better name.

Sounds good though!

She sees them twice a year, they are 10 and 12. My question is..what can she do to change that. She has a house and everything. She won’t even try…i know you have to get a lawyer…but will hey award her more visitation. Plus she lives in Austin and they live in NM. I’m just curious
I feel like it is my business because she was my best find and nienbor for 6 years. And she includes me in all drama. I am just curious and yes I am hurt about it. because I was close with kids too.

seems like your friend made her mind up. She sounds like she knew what she was doing at the time of her divorce. If she wants to be a moron and sign her own blood away, thats her, she will live with that. I know how it feels not to have my bio. father around and not want to see me at all and your friends children will find out what happened when they are older and might even end up hating her in the long run. I know i hate my bio father for not wanting me!!!!!! Theres really nothing you can do for her b/c she has to want her kids herself. I am so glad the dads stepping up to the plate tho b/c the mom sounds like a piece of s h i t!!! Sorry but true!
